Facebook after forcing people to use messenger on iPhone and Android devices, Facebook is back again with updated pages app. It has got new easy to use UI, app icon and more.
Now a days all companies are trying to bring something new in market like Amazon launched Fire phone with 3D Holographic display. Google is also focusing now on selling there own google domains! And today facebook has also rolled out its new facebook pages app. When Facebook launched there facebook app on phones, they also launched other apps like poke, facebook camera etc. They pulled back all these apps few months before as they were of no use. As this talks suggest that facebook was not much caring about apps at initial times. Lets see what are the pros and cons of new pages app but before talking about new version of facebook pages app, let us talk about previous versions. In previous versions, one of the major issue was administrator was not able to edit posts. Another thing which was lacking in pages app, it was not able to create events on pages. Now in new updated version of app, you can create events easily and edit your previous posts. There are other tonnes of new features which may delight you to download app and manage your pages on the go.

If we talk about User Interface and design of app it is best for page administrators. Its new bold look makes easy for your to see activity and insights. Previous version of this app was also designed for iOS 7 but new design in version 4.0 is impressive. As we talked earlier also that now you can directly edit your posts from app. Now admin can also see which admin is posting or commenting as a page. Also admin can reply to comments directly from app thanks to facebook for including this feature of threaded comments in facebook app.

Previous version 3.0 which was arrived in April month of this year brought features like ability to pin post or photos to top of page and many more. This new version is far better and has almost all capabilities which you get in facebook website. If you are dealing with busy schedule and do not get much time for your facebook pages than new updated facebook pages app is best solution to it. Few things which I do not like in new version of app is you do not get more details of page like total page reach etc. in front. You have to tap on insights to see all those stuffs well it can be ignored but that annoyed me a bit. Also I got confused by seeing its notifications icon which was afterwards known to be activity icon in which you can see all activities of your page like new notification, messages and other stats. It could be more better and less confusing. Overall new version is awesome and must have if you are administrator of any page on facebook.
